Falah collects no data at all.
No account, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no server of ours for the app to reach. On Android the app is built without the INTERNET permission, so it has no way to transmit anything. This page describes exactly what stays on your phone and why.
What we collect
Nothing. Aptagon Technologies operates no server, database or account system for Falah. We cannot see who installed it, where they are, what they read, or whether they opened the app today. We hold no personal data about you, because there is no mechanism by which we could receive any.
On Google Play, Falah's Data Safety section declares no data collected and no data shared. On the App Store, its privacy label is Data Not Collected. Those declarations describe the app accurately, and this policy is the longer version of them.
Your location
Prayer times depend on where you are, so the app needs a position. You decide how it gets one, and both routes keep it on the phone.
- Use my location. The app asks the operating system once for an approximate position. It is used immediately to calculate your times and identify your nearest town, then stored locally, rounded to two decimal places of latitude and longitude — about a kilometre of precision.
- Choose a country and city. You pick from more than 26,000 towns bundled inside the app, and no location permission is requested at all.
Falah does not request precise location, does not track you in the background, and does not read your position while it is closed.
What is stored on your device
Falah keeps your settings and progress in the app's own private storage. This is all of it:

None of it is transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it, which means your data is entirely in your hands: there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
If you use Google or iCloud device backup, that backup is covered by Google's or Apple's terms rather than ours.
Permissions the app asks for
- Notifications — to alert you at prayer times. Decline it and the app still works; it simply will not notify you.
- Exact alarms (Android) — so an alert fires on the minute instead of being batched by the system. Where it is unavailable, the app falls back to inexact scheduling.
- Approximate location — optional, requested only when you tap “Use my location”.
Falah does not request internet access, precise or background location, contacts, storage, the camera, the microphone, phone state, or advertising identifiers. The Qibla compass reads the magnetometer, which requires no permission.
Notifications
Prayer alerts are scheduled in advance by your own phone, several days ahead, and re-armed when you open the app or restart the device. No push service is involved, so no third party learns your prayer times or whether an alert was delivered.
No third-party code
The app contains no advertising network, no analytics library, no crash reporter, no social login, and no attribution or tracking SDK. There is no third party with whom we could share anything, because we receive nothing ourselves.
Google Play and the App Store
Installing Falah is a transaction between you and the store, and that store records the download under your own account according to its own privacy policy. We receive only aggregate, anonymous statistics that the stores publish to every developer, such as total install counts by country. Nothing in them identifies you.
This website
This site is static HTML. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising, social widgets or trackers. Its typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font provider.
There is one exception, and we would rather name it than let you find it. The footer carries a badge image from the app directory SpacerrApps, where Falah is listed. Because that image is loaded from spacerrapps.com, your browser requests it directly from their server, which means that server can see your IP address and browser user-agent, as it would for any image on any site. It sets no cookie here, it runs no script, and it is used for nothing on our side. Everything else on every page comes from this domain.
Stated plainly: like every website, this one sits on a hosting provider that keeps ordinary server logs — typically the requesting IP address, the page requested and the browser's user-agent string. Those logs exist for security and reliability, are held by the host under its own terms, and are not used by us to build any profile of you.
The live prayer-time preview on the home page is calculated in your browser. It does not ask for your location and sends nothing anywhere.
Children
Falah is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no messaging and no user-generated content.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Falah does something this page does not describe, we will update the page and its effective date before that version is released, and note the change in the store release notes. The current policy is also readable inside the app, under Settings → About.
